What are the different types of bars?

For gold bars, the two main categories are:
1. Cast bars – These bars are made when liquid hot gold is poured into a mold. These bars are rougher, and
tend to have more variance between them
2. Minted Bars – These bars start off as cast bars but are then subjected to a manufacturing process that
ensures that all the gold bars are mostly uniform in nature.
