Chinese gold pandas, which are bullion coins made from99.9% pure gold, began production in 1982 in the People’s Republic of China. Chinese gold pandas and Chinese silver pandas (made from 99.9% pure silver), come in 1/20 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/4^th oz, and 1 oz sizes. Their price is comparable to other bullion coins.
