The obverse features Roosevelt’s portrait facing left, the inscriptions LIBERTY to the upper left edge of the bust, the date on the bottom right and IN GOD WE TRUST on the left of the bust.

The reverse features elements of a torch, olive branch, and oak branch that symbolized, respectively, liberty, peace, and strength. The inscriptions are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the top edge, ONE DIME on the bottom edge and E PLURIBUS UNUM written across the bottom of the image, the mint make is to the left of the torch bottom.

There are two Types of the coin: Type 1, Silver (1946-1964), Type 2, Clad (1965-Present). Silver proof Dimes can be found in the annual Silver Proof Sets (1968-present).

Coin Values:  These coins are widely available in all grades.  A slabbed 1950-S MS67+ Roosevelt Dime sold for $365 while  a 2015-S PR69DCAM Silver Roosevelt Dime sold for $12
