PAMP Suisse
PAMP Suisse operates one of the world’s largest precious metals refineries and mints a full range of investment grade bullion products for both wholesale and retail trade. It also offers custom minting services for organizations and government mints.
The private mint was founded in 1977. PAMP is an acronym for Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux, which means artistic precious metals products in English. In 1981, Geneva-based gold trading firm MKS purchased a controlling interest in PAMP, making it officially a subsidiary of the MKS PAMP Group.
In 2008, PAMP formed a joint venture with the Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation of India to operate a precious metals refinery in Delhi which now serves as a primary distributor of gold to traders and jewelers in that country.
PAMP currently offers a full suite of minting, refining and investment services including assay, bullion bar casting, bullion coin distribution, jewelry supply and financial services.

Mint Location
PAMP Suisse refinery and mint is located in Castel San Pietro in the Swiss canton of Ticino. The refinery has a capacity to process 450 tonnes of gold annually, 600 tonnes of silver annually, and 30 tonnes of platinum group metals annually.

PAMP Suisse’s Claim to Fame
PAMP Suisse is recognized as being the first sovereign mint to produce bullion with decorative designs, The mint first applied its Lady Fortuna design to the reverse of its small bar ingots. This commitment to artistry helped PAMP’s reputation among collectors grow. The company is now responsible for producing more than half of the world’s bullion bars under 50 grams.

Executives
Nadia Haroun has served as Chief Executive Officer of PAMP Suisse since 2016. She joined the company in 2009 as head of sales and marketing. She holds a master’s degree in International Studies from Dauphine University in Paris.
