What is the American Numismatic Society?

The American Numismatic Society (ANS) is a nonprofit in a similar vein to the American Numismatic Association. They have educational resources, tools, and a directory of dealers for members to access. The ANS is more dedicated to research and publications as opposed to the ANA, which prides itself on being more accessible to everyday collectors.
