What is an example of an alloy?

Any gold that is less than 24k is an alloy. For instance, 14k Standard White Gold contains 58.3% gold and 41.7% copper, nickel, and zinc depending on the supplier. 14k Rose Gold, on the other hand, contains 58.3% gold and 41.7% copper and silver.
