Jefferson nickels range in value anywhere from face value to $300 with older coins in excellent condition being considered more valuable. Ignoring the occasional ‘very rare and valauble’ coins, coins before 1945 generally sell for $0.10 circulated and $5.00 uncirculated, while coins between 1945 and 1955 generally sell for $0.10 circulated and $3.00 uncirculated.
