How do you know if you have a Morgan silver dollar?

First, check the date. If it’s a silver dollar that was minted between 1878-1904, (with a one-off printing in 1921), then it probably a Morgan silver dollar. Secondly, check the design. If it is a silver dollar that has a left-facing liberty head wearing a wheat crown, with an eagle clasping arrows and an olive branch, it’s probably a Morgan silver dollar.
