What is a notaphile?

A notaphile is someone who has a love of studying and collecting banknotes and paper currency. There are societies such as the International Bank Society (IBNS) which was formed so that notaphiles can exchange banknotes. Like numismatists, notaphiles have a system of authenticating, grading, and cataloguing banknotes as to determine their collector’s value.
