What is a Double Die Dime?
Describes a striking error found in Roosevelt Dimes struck by the United States Mint. This error occurs in the 1964D varieties of the coin. These coins were struck twice on the reverse side, causing deeper cuts of the devices of the coin. Coins with the more noticeable cuts are valued more.
