What is Grading Service?

Company that provides coin grading. There are two coin grading companies that are preferred by collectors: Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) and the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). They differ in the scales that they use and how they legitimize coins. Both approaches are recognized by collectors.
