What is a Half Eagle?

Series of U.S coin designs that were produced for circulation from 1795 to 1929. They were further produced as commemorative and bullion coins since the 1980s. The different coins within the series are colloquially known by features on their observe: Turban Head, Draped Bust, Classic Head, Liberty Head, and Indian Head.
