What is Knox v. Lee?

US Supreme Court case that affirmed paper money was legal tender. Knox had paid for Lee’s property in coin and appealed to Supreme Court when he was to receive repayment in paper money. At the time, the paper fiat money depreciates more than coin and Knox appealed on the basis that the government was receiving a premium at his expense.
